KUWAIT CITY, April 9: The Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) has issued a warning urging the public to avoid using elevators during the scheduled power outage set by the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy.
In a statement to KUNA, Brigadier General Mohammad Al-Gharib, Director of Public Relations and Media at the KFF, advised individuals to remain calm and not panic if an elevator stops or if the power goes out. He emphasized the importance of pressing the alarm button to request assistance.
Al-Gharib further cautioned people against attempting to open the elevator doors, as this could put their safety at risk. Instead, he recommended sitting on the floor to alleviate stress while waiting for help. He also reminded everyone to call the emergency number (112) if assistance is needed.
