Responsibilities
- Developing and demonstrating a broad set of technology skills in Java technologies, Service Oriented Architecture concepts, Open Source libraries and frameworks, and technology architecture concepts.
- Collaborating within a project team comprised of talented employees with diverse and complementary skills.
- Performing code reviews and providing critical suggestions for fixes and improvements.
- Supporting issue analysis and fix activities, as well as production issue resolution.
- Troubleshooting and performance tuning Java-based applications.
- Using configuration management and integration/build automation tools to manage and deploy Java code.
- Applying knowledge of common, relevant architecture frameworks in defining and evaluating application architectures.
- 5 years of work experience developing Java and using the core Spring framework.
- 5 years of work experience using Java development tools
- Experience with Java-based MVC frameworks
- Experience with Javascript, JSP, HTML
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Preferred)
- Experience with databases, SQL, data modeling and performance tuning
- Experience with mobile (IOS, HTML5, Android) and responsive web development
- Experience with performance testing
- Experience with Agile SCRUM
- Experience with issue tracking software (JIRA)
