RIYADH, Aug 12: The Public Sports Authority of Bahrain and the Ministry of Sports, Saudi Arabia have partnered to advance their sports collaboration.

This agreement aims to boost bilateral cooperation in sports, including community, Paralympic, women's, and combat sports. It will focus on managing and organizing sports events such as exhibitions, competitions, and championships, as well as on qualifying and developing sports personnel and creating long-term training programs.

The agreement was signed by Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee.

Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa emphasized that this agreement represents a strategic step toward enhancing sports relations between the two nations. It reflects a mutual commitment to improving cooperation and sharing expertise across various sports disciplines.
