Bahrain hosts Cityscape and Jewellery Arabia Exhibitions to drive economic growth and tourism

MANAMA, Bahrain, Nov 25: As part of its efforts to support economic growth and bolster the tourism sector, Bahrain is set to host two major international exhibitions: the Cityscape Global Real Estate Exhibition and the Arabian Jewels Exhibition. Running from Tuesday until November 30, these events are part of the Kingdom’s ambitious Economic Vision 2030 and aim to stimulate trade, invigorate the economy, and enhance Bahrain’s tourism appeal.

The exhibitions, held at the Bahrain International Exhibition Center under the patronage of Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad, aim to offer a unique experience in exploring promising real estate developments and shopping from leading brands in the gold and jewelry sectors.

The Cityscape Global Real Estate Exhibition will feature more than 40 exhibitors showcasing Bahrain’s largest real estate projects, with expectations of attracting over 10,000 visitors. This platform offers an important opportunity for investors and industry specialists, with a focus on innovative real estate solutions and pioneering projects. The exhibition, themed “Live the Life of Luxury,” is a hub for networking, partnership building, and deal-making, while also highlighting the latest developments in real estate technology and services.

The event coincides with a key real estate conference covering topics like architectural design, infrastructure, and sustainability. Over 25 experts from local, regional, and international backgrounds will discuss the impact of Bahrain’s Vision 2030 on urban development and planning. Sessions will explore the role of investments in achieving sustainable development, balancing living elements, and promoting a knowledge-based economy to support growth. The importance of entertainment in creating vibrant, luxurious spaces will also be a key focus.

Meanwhile, the 32nd edition of the Jewellery Arabia exhibition will see a 30% increase in exhibitors, with over 650 local and international brands, offering exclusive and limited-edition pieces. The exhibition will attract tourists interested in luxury jewelry, supporting Bahrain’s efforts to establish itself as a premier shopping destination. It will also bolster the jewelry industry, a major economic contributor in Bahrain, fostering job creation and economic development.

The exhibition will celebrate Bahrain’s heritage with authentic gold jewelry displays and feature a range of events, including the “Decorated Art: Jewels of the Middle East” exhibition, which merges heritage with modern Middle Eastern art. A series of panel discussions will explore the latest trends in jewelry, while the Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (DANAT) will launch a book on the Egyptian royal family’s jewelry. Additional activities include training sessions on buying jewelry and exploring the allure of natural and cultured diamonds.

The Arabian Perfumes Exhibition will run alongside the jewelry event, offering visitors a chance to explore luxury perfumes from various brands. These exhibitions align with Bahrain’s 2022-2026 tourism strategy to enhance its position as a tourism hub, attracting visitors and stimulating economic growth.
