KUWAIT CITY, Nov 7: Kuwaits' Al-Arabi Club faced a defeat at the hands of the Bahraini Al-Riffa Club with a score of 2-1 in the fourth round of the AFC Cup qualifiers.
The Bahraini team secured their first goal during the first half of the match at Khalifa Sports City Stadium, leading 1-0 at halftime. In the second half, Al-Riffa added another goal to their tally, while Al-Arabi managed to score one goal, resulting in a final score of 2-1 in favor of the Bahraini club.
As a consequence of this outcome, Al-Arabi slipped to the third position with four points, while Al-Riffa claimed the top spot in the group with 10 points. They were followed by the Iraqi Al-Zawraa in the second position with 7 points, and the Lebanese Al-Najma Al-Najma in fourth place with just one point.
