Detention of ex-MP’s son, 2 others extended in ‘terror’ financing case

  KUWAIT CITY, Sept 23: The Criminal Court has decided to continue the detention of the son of a former MP and two citizens who are accused of financing ISIS, planning terrorist acts, and promoting “takfiri” doctrine. It ordered the session to be adjourned until the beginning of next month to summon the incident officer.

In a related context, the same court denied the release of a female university graduate charged in a State Security case. During the court session, she denied the charges of inciting the overthrow of the regime and insulting His Highness the Amir via the X platform, asserting that an expatriate outside the country wrote the articles for her and published them under threat
