KUWAIT CITY, Feb 14: A judge extended the detention of an officer working in the Ministry of Interior for 21 days pending investigation on assaulting a Bangladeshi, who became quadriplegic, for not washing his car, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The accused appeared before the judge, denying the charge. He stressed that he had no intention to assault the Bangladeshi, but the latter provoked him. The officer’s lawyer requested for his release on bail — any amount the court deems appropriate, but the request was rejected.
