DOHA, Jan 18: The director of Basel Al-Sabah Club for Car and Motorcycle Racing, Saif Al-Mutairi, expressed his pride in the club’s racers for securing top positions in the second round of the Arab Drag Race Championship held in Qatar.

Al-Mutairi highlighted that the club’s champions consistently achieve leading results in competitions hosted by the Qatar Club for Car and Motorcycle Racing, emphasizing their dedication to representing Kuwait on the international stage.

In the Index 00.9 category, Saleh Al-Misbah clinched first place, followed by Salem Al-Yamani in second. In the Index 50.8 category, Khaled Al-Amiri took the top spot.

For the 50.8 motorcycle racing category, Abdulwahab Bouqmaz secured first place, while Muhammad Ismail finished third.

In the Street Bike category, Fahad Al-Harbi claimed first place, with Mohammed Al-Matrouk taking third. In the Index 80.4 category, Mohammed Al-Farih emerged as the winner, followed by Abdullah Al-Kandari in second place.

The Index 50.4 category saw Abdullah Al-Yassin finish second, while in the Index 00.4 category, Bader Khorshid won first place. In the Super Street Bike category, Bader bin Eidan took first place, Yaqout Al-Awad secured second, and Ahmed bin Bilal finished third.

In the Pro Bike category, Mishaal Al-Saber earned second place. Turki Al-Dhafiri triumphed in the Super Street Pro category, with Jaber Al-Maghribi taking second. Ali Ibrahim emerged victorious in the Pro NE category, followed by Sayed Al-Haddad in second place.

These impressive achievements underline the skill and determination of the Basel Al-Sabah Club racers, reaffirming their status as a driving force in the Arab drag racing circuit.
