Bedoun Arrested for Selling Weapons to School Students on Social Media

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 23: In line with the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to monitoring and addressing content shared on social media, the Criminal Security Sector, through the General Department of Criminal Investigations (Capital Governorate Investigations Department), has arrested a Bedoun for promoting and selling unlicensed sharp and solid weapons at low prices, specifically targeting school students.

Acting on legal authorization obtained from the Public Prosecution, authorities searched and seized a large number of these weapons in the individual’s possession. During questioning, the suspect confessed to creating the video and using software to alter his voice. He has been referred to the relevant authorities for legal action.

The Ministry of Interior emphasizes its dedication to safeguarding society by monitoring social media and taking stringent measures against any behavior that endangers public safety, particularly that of school students. They stress that such actions will not be tolerated, and legal action will be pursued against those who threaten community safety.
