KUWAIT CITY, Aug 9:  The lawyer representing a car sales company has filed a complaint with Hawally Police Station against a Bedoun who purchased six cars using a cheque for 48,000 dinars. The cheque, however, was found to be fraudulent and signed by a prisoner serving his term at the Central Prison. According to the lawyer, the accused had a history of similar transactions, which led to the cars being handed over based on the cheque.

After filing the case under No. 313/2024 at Hawally Police Station, the accused was apprehended and admitted to buying six cars, of which he had sold three. He also revealed that the cheque was signed by his partner, who had been locked up in jail following the transaction.
