Bedoun Caught with 12kg of Crystal Meth, Marijuana, and Lyrica

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 18: A Bedoun was arrested in possession of approximately 12 kilograms of narcotic substances and 30,000 Lyrica capsules.

This arrest is part of the Ministry of Interior's ongoing efforts to combat drug and psychotropic substance abuse, as well as to track down traffickers and smugglers. The Criminal Security Sector, specifically the General Department for Combating Drugs (Local Combating Department), successfully detained the individual, who was found with around 30,000 Lyrica capsules, 8 kilograms of the narcotic crystal meth, and 4 kilograms of marijuana.

Upon interrogation, the accused confessed that the seized drugs were intended for trafficking and personal use. He was subsequently referred to the Public Prosecution, along with the confiscated substances, for legal proceedings.

The Ministry of Interior reiterated its commitment to aggressively confronting drug dealers and traffickers while urging the public to cooperate with law enforcement by reporting any suspicious activities via the emergency number (112) or the General Department for Combating Narcotics hotline (1884141).
