Bedouns Nabbed for Drug Trafficking, GCC National Escapes

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 18: The Ministry of Interior apprehended two Bedouns on charges of drug trafficking and firearm possession. Investigations also uncovered a third suspect, a Gulf national, who fled to his home country following their involvement in drug dealing and a shooting incident targeting a vehicle.

According to a security source, the Ministry of Interior’s operations received a report from an Bedoun claiming his vehicle had been shot at in the Sulaibikhat area. The investigation revealed that the complainant was attempting to purchase cocaine when a dispute arose over the price. This led the suspects to open fire, damaging his car.

The source further stated that authorities identified the suspects, arresting one of them, while the other—a Gulf national—had already fled the country. The firearm used in the incident was reportedly in the possession of the escaped Gulf national.
