BERLIN, June 10: The Berlin municipality will organize a special reception for the Kuwaiti delegation participating in 16th World Summer Special Olympics Games to be held in Berlin and scheduled for June 17-25. Neukolln borough member for the local council of sports affairs, Karen Corte, told KUNA, the municipality will receive the Kuwaiti delegation consisting of 57 athletes with special needs and administrators at the municipality headquarters.

In addition, a prepared program is given to discover Berlin city tourist attractions and sport activities before the launch of Special Olympics. The official indicated that she will be with the mayor of Neukolln borough to receive the Kuwaiti delegation before the start of the program, which will continue throughout the day. Kuwait team of 57 athletes, includes 12 male and 13 female players with special needs, as well as five players who do not have these needs to participate in unified sports. (KUNA)
