KUWAIT CITY, April 5: Series of accidents in the schools is due to lack of maintenance work. Sources said the recent fire in Duaij Al-Salman Secondary School for Boys in Mubarak Al-Kabeer during the morning assembly was caused by an explosion in the A/C unit, and the teachers guided all students to the sports yard. A team of securitymen, accompanied by firemen and paramedics reached the scene few minutes after receiving report about the fire. No causalities were recorded. Director of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Educational Area Mansour Al-Daihani rushed to the school to ensure safety of students. By Rana Salem Al-Seyassah Staff
