KUWAIT CITY, Oct 7: The Criminal Security Sector, through the Jahra Governorate Investigations Department, has arrested a suspect linked to a premeditated murder after receiving a report of an individual discarding blood-stained clothing in a garbage disposal area.

According to the Ministry of Interior, search and investigation teams intensified their efforts to probe the incident. A review of surveillance footage revealed that the driver of a vehicle was responsible for disposing of the bloodied garments. Following the vehicle's route led investigators to the suspect, and traces of blood were discovered inside the vehicle, resulting in the suspect's arrest.

During the investigation, the suspect confessed to killing the victim and disposing of the body in a deserted area near the Amghara scrap yard. He also provided directions to the location of the victim's remains, which were identified as belonging to a man working as a house driver.

A case has been filed under No. 59/2024 Saad Al-Abdullah Felonies (premeditated murder), and the suspect has been referred to the appropriate authorities.
