KUWAIT CITY,Oct 30,: The Handball Federation's Board of Directors will convene a meeting at 5:30 PM at the federation's headquarters in Daiya. The meeting's agenda includes discussions about the future of handball in general, the prospects for our national teams, the organization of local tournaments, and an evaluation of the administrative and technical developments in the past period.

In a related context, the National Teams and Training Authority, in collaboration with National Teams Director Faisal Siwan and the combined technical and administrative staff led by Coach Saeed Hegazy, is in the final stages of formulating a plan to prepare the first team for the Asian Championship, a qualification event for the 2025 World Cup. The draw for this championship will occur on November 10, and the tournament itself is scheduled to take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain from January 11 to 22, 2024.

The preparation plan primarily focuses on commencing local training before conducting an overseas training camp in Europe, commencing in Slovenia and concluding in Croatia. The goal is to ensure that the "Blue" team is well-prepared for this crucial event. The team's medical staff is also diligently working on rehabilitating injured players, and Saif Al-Adwani has resumed training after recovering from his injury.
