Body of Pakistani expatriate found in Salmiya bus, investigation underway

KUWAIT CITY, June 29: The body of a Pakistani expatriate was discovered inside a bus in Salmiya, prompting authorities to launch a criminal investigation.

The discovery was made after a passerby reported seeing a lifeless body inside a bus parked in a dirt lot commonly used for parking in the Salmiya area. The witness immediately alerted the Ministry of Interior’s operations.

Upon receiving the report, security and forensic teams swiftly arrived at the scene. Inside the bus, they confirmed the presence of the deceased, later identified as a Pakistani national.

The Public Prosecution was notified of the incident and has since ordered the registration of criminal suspicions. The body has been referred to the forensic medicine department to ascertain the cause of death.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
