KUWAIT CITY, Oct 16: A liquor dealer managed to evade security men, leaving behind a stash of alcohol hidden under a tree in an unpaved area in the Abdullah Al-Mubarak area, intended for sale to customers.
The incident unfolded when officers from the Abdullah Al-Mubarak police station, during routine patrols targeting wanted individuals and law violators, noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in an unpaved area. As they approached, the driver fled the scene, abandoning two cartons under a nearby tree. Upon inspection, authorities discovered 33 imported bottles of alcohol along with eight locally distilled, stored in plastic water bottles.
The confiscated items were handed over to the relevant authorities, and efforts are underway to apprehend the fugitive using the vehicle’s license plate information.
