KUWAIT CITY, Oct 19: Zain announced its sponsorship of the third edition of Watheefti – the largest career gathering in Kuwait, which took place over the weekend at The Arena under the patronage and presence of H.E. Dr. Nader Al Jalal, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Education.

The opening ceremony was attended by Zain Kuwait Chief Purpose and Human Resources Officer, Nawal Bourisli, Chief Enterprise Business Officer, Hamad Al Marzouq, Chief Corporate Affairs and Relations Officer, Waleed Al Khashti, along with senior HR executives from organizations participating in the event. 

Nawal Bourisli commented: “Attracting national talent to the private sector and enhancing their skills is a cornerstone of our strategy, particularly in emerging technologies and digital innovations, which are at the heart of what we do in Zain.”

She added: "Zain has adopted a comprehensive purpose and human resources strategy focused on investing in our people. We continuously work to enhance our employees' skills and talents across various domains to ensure sustainable career growth, especially in technologies like digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, big data, and more."

As the official sponsor, Zain supports over 15 engaging sessions and more than 40 workshops held alongside the event, covering crucial topics such as the use of AI in interviews, workplace ethics, time management, CV preparation, career path planning, leadership skillsets, building career loyalty, success in the private sector, corporate culture, career development, and much more.

Watheefti is the largest career fair in Kuwait and was held over the past weekend at The Arena Kuwait, with the participation of dozens of companies and employers from various vital sectors, catering to thousands of job seekers.
