Kuwait City, 9 Oct: Boursa Kuwait collaborated with HSBC, the multinational British investment bank and one of the largest investment banks in Europe, to host an “Asset Managers Day” for representatives from licensed Kuwaiti investment companies at the bank’s headquarters in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.

The Boursa Kuwait initiative will bring together representatives from eight prominent Kuwaiti investment companies with the Markets and Securities Services (MSS) desk at HSBC on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. The eight Kuwaiti companies were carefully selected by HSBC using rigorous criteria, ensuring that participants had ample time to interact with the representatives from the myriad MSS desks. This personalized approach facilitated fruitful conversations and meaningful connections.

The Asset Managers Day will begin with a presentation from HSBC’s esteemed UAE Head of Markets, who will provide valuable insights into current trends and outline the future of the region’s capital markets. HSBC MSS Management will also briefings and presentation to showcase the bank’s strategic vision and objectives, outlining key opportunities where the Kuwaiti asset managers could be better aligned. Additionally, one-on-one meetings with the Markets division of HSBC will provide a platform for in-depth discussions on areas of interest, business opportunities, and potential collaborations.

Boursa Kuwait’s initiative aims to empower prominent and licensed Kuwaiti investment companies to utilize new products and services from world-renowned investment banks in an effort to develop their business practices and strategies.
