KUWAIT CITY, Sep 19:  A collision between two passenger buses near Mubarakiya Market, opposite Safat Square, left 10 people injured, most of them of Asian nationalities, along with one Egyptian national. The incident occurred yesterday morning when one of the buses reportedly ran a red light due to brake failure, according to the driver’s statement.

The Ministry of Interior’s operations room received an emergency report of the accident, prompting security personnel, medical teams, and the General Fire Force to respond swiftly to the scene. The injured were immediately transported to Al-Amiri Hospital for treatment.

Initial investigations indicate that brake failure was the cause of the bus running the red light, leading to the collision and subsequent injuries. Security and firefighting teams worked efficiently to clear the road by removing the damaged buses, ensuring the resumption of normal traffic flow.
