On behalf of Brazil, it is my pleasure to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the government and the people of Kuwait on the auspicious occasion of the 64th National Day of the State of Kuwait and the 34th anniversary of Kuwait’s Liberation. I also have the honor of extending Brazil’s best wishes for health, prosperity and happiness to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah.

Since the establishment of relations between Kuwait and Brazil in 1968, both nations have been working together under the same values of friendship and cooperation to make the world a better place. The year 2025 is also special for marking the 50th anniversary of the opening of resident embassies of Brazil and Kuwait in their respective capitals. This connection is further strengthened by our joint commitment to the common goals of national development and a prosperous future.
