The Cassation Court has affirmed a verdict of four years of imprisonment with labor for an employee at the Residency Affairs Department. The employee was found guilty of accepting a 500-dinar bribe from a Pakistani resident to expedite an entry visa transaction. The incident occurred in last June, following information received from the Residence Affairs Investigation Department regarding the employee's involvement in bribery. She was apprehended in a documented ambush, supported by audio and video evidence, and subsequently referred to the Public Prosecution.
