KUWAIT CITY Oct 28: In the latest volleyball championship hosted by the Federation, the Burgan Club’s volleyball team has emerged as the frontrunner, boasting 21 points following their well-deserved victory against Al-Shabab. The match unfolded in three decisive games with scores of 25-18, 25-20, 26-24, and it took place at the Abu Halifa hall during the eighth round of the tournament.

In a parallel match outcome, Kazma secured their win against Al-Sahel with scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-19, and Kuwait bested Al-Qadsia with scores of 25-23, 25-17, 25-17. Additionally, Yarmouk clinched their victory against Al-Tadamon after a gripping three-round contest with scores of “25-15, 25-23, 22-25, 25-10.

With these notable results, Burgan now lead the Al-Ittihad Championship standings with 21 points, having played eight matches. Kuwait follow closely with 18 points from seven matches, holding the third position.

Meanwhile, Kazma maintained their fourth-place position with 12 points. Al-Arabi, Al-Shabab, and Yarmouk are tied with 6 points each, and Al-Sahel trail with two points. Al-Tadamon lags at the bottom of the standings with just one point to their name.
