KUWAIT CITY, Oct 8: The Cabinet convened for its weekly meeting on Tuesday at Bayan Palace, under the leadership of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al- Ahmad Al-Sabah. Following the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sherida Abdullah Al-Muasherji provided the following updates: At the outset, the Cabinet praised the speech delivered on behalf of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al- Sabah during the Third Summit of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue in Doha last Thursday. In his address, the Amir reaffirmed Kuwait’s strong condemnation of the Israeli occupation forces’ ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people. He urged the international community, particularly the Security Council, to swiftly halt this violence.

The Amir also denounced the Israeli attacks on Lebanon, which have resulted in numerous civilian casualties, calling for solidarity with Lebanon and emphasizing Kuwait’s commitment to its sovereignty and stability. He urged Asian nations to advocate for justice and uphold the rights of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples to live freely and peacefully. (KUNA)
