Catholic Church in Kuwait opens annual Diwaniya to greet well-wishers

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: The Catholic Church in the State of Kuwait has opened its Diwaniya to welcome well-wishers in celebration of Christmas and the New Year. This initiative serves as a special occasion that underscores the spirit of love and brotherhood, bringing together various segments of society. Among the distinguished guests were ambassadors, diplomats, church leaders and priests from different local churches across the country. During the gathering, warm wishes were exchanged; reflecting the deep and lasting relationship between churches and various institutions. This annual event highlights the Catholic Church’s role as a bridge of communication between diverse communities, promoting the values of national unity and peaceful coexistence through participation in festive occasions.
