KUWAIT CITY, Jul 5: An Egyptian expatriate entered a gold shop in the Fahaheel area and attempted to flee with a piece of gold, taking advantage of the employee's momentary distraction. However, the shop workers and passersby quickly pursued and apprehended him, subsequently handing him over to the authorities. He was detained at the police station, where a misdemeanor case was registered against him, and an investigator has begun the inquiry.
