Chain of rule is complete; may Allah bless their shiny necklace

FINALLY the chain is around the neck of Kuwait – perhaps, it is a necklace of goodness and blessing for the country – in addition to the chain of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad. With the two stars His Highness selected to assist him in governance, the country now enjoys experienced political leadership.

Following the Amiri Order to appoint a Prime Minister, which was undoubtedly a blessed choice, the position of the Crown Prince deserved to go to a statesman who is known for his dedication in serving Kuwait and elevating its status. That man is His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, and this was indeed a blessed choice.

From the first moment His Highness took over the reins of power, we noticed the work he carried out with utmost transparency. We noticed the application of the law on everyone, no matter how big or small, and his keenness to put the right man in the right place. This is because he believes that Kuwait deserves every effort for its renaissance.

The country for years has not witnessed leaders who share this degree of harmony. They are leaders of renaissance in every sense of the word. That is why there was great reception and support for these choices that His Highness was keen on making.

The people who waited for the recommendation of a Crown Prince got what they wished for, as the powerful ruler knows that being patient reaps many great benefits.

Today, the country is emerging from a long era of pain as a result of unpatriotic practices that tampered with its capabilities.

We later saw pure patriotic behavior from all who were chosen by His Highness to work for the advancement of Kuwait. These were renaissance figures who were working with full force to complete the tasks entrusted to them.

Considering the suffering of Kuwait over the many years of demonization of everything and attempts to change societal culture, the time has come to get out of that phase. That is why we have today started hoping for the good of Kuwait’s return to its essence, which some wanted to gloss over.

With the pendant that adorns the chain, which is His Highness the Amir, and with him the two stars – the honest, clean-handed, seasoned diplomat His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, and the hardworking person who is keen to uphold the law and the integrity of administrative and political practice His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah, it means that Kuwait has started rising from its long slump.

It also indicates that the future of the ruling family has begun to shine, and that the appropriate time has come to put its members on the right path, and for competence to be the title for whoever assumes any position among its members.

This is not strange for this noble family, as the forefathers set the guidelines that everyone must adhere to. Even if there were some lapses at some point, they always return to correcting themselves on their own.

Congratulations to His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled for His Highness the Amir’s recommendation of a noble figure for this position. Congratulations to Kuwait for this chain full of personalities. Indeed, His Highness the Amir applied the Quran verse: “Indeed, the best of whom you hire is the strong and trustworthy.”
