KUWAIT CITY, Oct 15: The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) on Thursday launched the service for changing the address of citizens through the unified government application for electronic services – ‘Sahel’, reports Al-Jarida daily. In a press statement, PACI disclosed that the service allows changing the address in two cases; one of which is for those who own the property and those renting the property.

Renters are allowed to change the address only if they present proof that residency in the property is no longer valid; especially in cases of demolition, construction or other housing impediments. Meanwhile, sources explained that if a tenant submits the change of address application, a notification will be sent to the landlord to confirm approval of the transaction. The tenant must ensure that the landlord has subscribed to Sahel, sources added.
