KUWAIT CITY, Oct 7: This morning, Major General Talal Mohammed Al-Roumi, the Chief of the General Fire Force, conducted an inspection of the force's readiness and preparations for the upcoming rainy season at the support center located in the Al-Rai area.

During the visit, he reviewed the equipment and machinery designated for the rainy season, which includes advanced hydraulic water pumps, various electric and mechanical pumps, and portable boats. These assets are crucial for rapid intervention in emergencies, particularly in areas where fire engines cannot access to rescue individuals trapped in vehicles or homes.

The inspection also included discussions on the strategies and plans developed in cooperation with relevant authorities to ensure a coordinated response during adverse weather conditions. Emphasis was placed on the activation of the major accidents command room, which is equipped with the latest technology to monitor incidents and efficiently direct teams to minimize damage during emergencies.

Brigadier General Ahmed Haif Hamoud, Acting Deputy Chairman of the Fire Fighting Sector, along with several leaders of the General Fire Force, attended the inspection.
