KUWAIT CITY, March 4: Minister of Justice Counselor Nasser Al-Sumait has issued a decision to transfer all circuits of the Court of First Instance, the Court of Appeal, and the Court of Cassation from their current headquarters to the new Palace of Justice building, starting Sunday, March 9.

The decision also includes the relocation of all Family Court circuits, covering Capital, General, and Appeal courts, to the new facility.

As part of the ongoing transfer of court circuits to the new building, a responsible source revealed that the Ministry of Justice is currently studying the implementation of remote sessions. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of legal proceedings.

The source further highlighted that the Ministry is working on providing the best technical specifications and approving the executive regulations for “paperless justice,” aiming to modernize and streamline the judicial process.
