KUWAIT CITY, June 18: The Public Prosecution has ordered the detention of a citizen on charges of affiliating with a group aiming to unlawfully dismantle the fundamental systems of the country. It is alleged that the individual also received training in manufacturing fireworks and preparing poisons for illicit purposes.
According to the prosecution, the citizen stands accused of attempting to leave the country to join the aforementioned group but was prevented from doing so. The individual has been interrogated and confronted with the charges against them, with investigation procedures currently underway.
The Public Prosecution did not disclose the identity of the accused or further details regarding the ongoing investigation.
