KUWAIT CITY, Oct 9: The Court of Appeal, led by Counselor Nasr Salem Al-Haid and joined by Counselors Saud Al-Sanea and Tariq Metwally, upheld the death sentence for a citizen convicted of murdering his wife’s mother.
The incident occurred on Al-Wafra Road, where the accused shot the victim with a Kalashnikov rifle. The Public Prosecution charged him with premeditated murder, asserting that he had a clear intention and plan to commit the crime. He prepared the Kalashnikov rifle and ambushed the victim as she was leaving with her daughter. When they attempted to flee, he opened fire, targeting them, which resulted in the death of his wife’s mother.
