KUWAIT CITY, July 23: The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has informed ministries, agencies, and government departments that any employment requests for appointing non-Kuwaitis on contracts or for expertise will be considered as actual needs. These needs will be added to the agency’s requirements list, which must be filled with job seekers registered in the Central Employment System lists with the same scientific specializations.

According to sources at the Civil Service Commission, implementing this decision will require government agencies to crystallize their job needs in preparation for submission to the Commission on October 1. The authority aims to ensure the appointment of qualified Kuwaitis registered on the waiting lists, in line with the principles of justice, equal opportunities, and equality in public sector appointments.

The sources emphasized that implementing these controls necessitates developing a comprehensive plan that considers graduates with specialized qualifications, alongside the actual needs of the agencies. This move is part of the Bureau's efforts to streamline the hiring process and ensure that job opportunities are fairly distributed among qualified candidates.
