KUWAIT CITY, March 31: The General Department of Criminal Investigation, specifically the Department of Combating Counterfeiting and Forgery Crimes, has arrested an individual on charges of forging financial stamps that are attributed to the Ministry of Finance.

The arrest was made possible through intensified security measures and monitoring of individuals involved in illegal activities such as forgery and counterfeiting. The individual was found to be selling the forged stamps to unsuspecting individuals. Both the individual and the seized items have been handed over to the appropriate authorities for legal action.

The department remains vigilant in its efforts to combat such crimes and urges the public to report any suspicious activities related to forgery or counterfeiting.

Meanwhile, the Violators Follow-up Department has arrested an individual for begging. This was made possible by reports received by the General Department of Residence Affairs Investigations. The arrested individual was a cleaner and has been referred to the appropriate authorities for legal action.
