KUWAIT CITY, Feb 27: The Meteorology Department forecasts a chance of scattered light rain over the weekend as the country experiences the influence of a high-pressure system accompanied by a cold air mass from northeastern Europe. This system is expected to weaken, leading to a slight increase in temperatures gradually. Winds will generally be northwesterly to variable, with light to moderate speeds.

Thursday

Day: Cold and partly cloudy, with a chance of scattered light rain. Winds will be variable, shifting to northwesterly at speeds between 8 and 35 km/h.
Maximum temperatures will range between 15°C and 17°C.
The sea will be light to moderate, with wave heights between 2 and 5 feet.
Night: Cold to very cold, with northwesterly to variable winds at 10 to 40 km/h, occasionally stronger near coastal areas.
