KUWAIT CITY, April 4: In a case titled Fraud No. 22/2024, a citizen born in 1990 reported to the Mina Abdullah and Ali Sabah Al-Salem police station that he was deceived by another citizen into believing he could easily obtain a commercial license for him, reports Al- Jarida daily. The victim handed over 3,000 dinars to the accused, expecting the promised license, but the accused failed to deliver, citing various excuses. Upon investigation, the accused confessed to the fraud, admitting to taking the money but providing no legitimate justification for his actions. He claimed financial desperation and lack of support from friends as reasons for resorting to fraud. The case is now under investigation, with authorities looking into the matter further to determine appropriate legal actions.
