KUWAIT CITY, Jan 11: In a bid to bolster security and maintain order, Kuwait's Ministry of Interior, under the direct supervision of First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, launched an extensive security campaign in the Sulaibikhat area. The operation involved multiple security sectors, including the Traffic and Operations Sector and the Private Security Sector.
The campaign resulted in significant outcomes:
5 individuals were arrested for violating residence and work laws.
5 wanted individuals were apprehended.
3 absconders were taken into custody.
17 people were detained for lacking identification.
2 individuals were found in possession of suspected narcotic substances.
3 vehicles and motorcycles wanted in connection with cases were seized.
8 vehicles and motorcycles were impounded for traffic law violations.
The Ministry of Interior emphasized that such campaigns are part of a broader strategy to enhance security and public order across Kuwait. They reaffirmed their commitment to protecting the rights of citizens and residents, apprehending violators, and fostering a safe and stable environment nationwide.
