KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13:  Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nader Al-Jalal, emphasized that the ongoing construction projects in the country reflect the vision to enhance the quality of education, align with labor market needs, and support national development goals. This statement was made following his inspection visit to construction projects at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET).

In a press statement after the visit, Dr. Al-Jalal expressed that these projects demonstrate Kuwait’s commitment to advancing the infrastructure for applied education and training. He noted that they are part of a broader national plan to improve the education sector. The Minister highlighted that the expansion of construction projects across all governorates is not merely about building structures but serves a strategic vision to ensure access to quality education and vocational training throughout the country.

Dr. Al-Jalal emphasized that this initiative supports educational equality by providing equal opportunities for all citizens to access high-quality applied education and training. It also empowers Kuwaiti youth, equipping them with the skills needed to contribute to national development. He added that these efforts are aligned with Kuwait's “New Kuwait 2035” vision, which seeks to build a diversified and sustainable economy by investing in education and improving the national workforce's efficiency.

The Minister also noted that the tour was intended to monitor the design and implementation of these construction projects, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards to create an integrated educational environment. This environment is aimed at equipping students with modern technologies and advanced training facilities, enhancing their skills, and preparing them to compete in both the local and international job markets.

Dr. Al-Jalal commended the Director General of PAAET, Dr. Hassan Al-Fajjam, and all those involved in completing the projects, praising their hard work and dedication. He reiterated his commitment to following up on the careful planning and implementation of these projects in close coordination with all relevant parties to establish distinguished educational institutions.

For his part, Dr. Al-Fajjam shared that PAAET has completed several projects in various governorates and is actively working on new initiatives in areas like Sabah Al-Ahmad, Al-Mutlaa, Jaber Al-Ahmad, Jahra, and others to meet the local demand for educational facilities. The visual presentation during the visit outlined completed projects, ongoing developments, and future initiatives, including the establishment of new branches of the Authority’s colleges and institutes across the country.
