KUWAIT CITY, Sept 4: After a break of more than six months, the Ministry of Interior intends to float a tender for printing services in its various departments to serve the visitors, reports Al-Rai daily.
The tender which the ministry intends to float soon, will include printing services for application forms, photocopying and photographing, translation of documents and e-correspondence, documentation, arranging, reviewing and completing the missing documents before submitting them to the concerned departments.
A security source explained these services were terminated following the expiry of the then contract has but to alleviate the suffering of the visitors, especially the elderly and women the Ministry of Interior said it will float a tender through the Central Tenders Committee to restore these services to its previous level.
It is noteworthy to mention these services are currently available with mobile vehicles parked in front of the departments of the ministry, and is experiencing hardships.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Electricity and Water will fully link its system with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) after installing the integrated system of computers and using special programs, reports Al-Rai daily quoting a reliable source.
The source pointed out that the ministry met representatives of the CSC recently, during which they reached an agreement to install certain programs to complete the linking procedures.
The source affirmed that the integrated system will help the ministry specify and adopt upgrading degrees, and speed up the disbursement of excellent performance bonus.
