KUWAIT CITY, Dec 2: The Legal and Financial Committee of the Municipal Council, during its meeting to be headed by Fahad Al-Abduljader on Sunday, will discuss the letter submitted by the National Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises regarding the exemption of small and medium-sized enterprises from municipal fees for activities on public roads, squares, sidewalks, and public squares. It will also discuss the proposed ministerial decision regarding the list of fees for the services provided by the municipality.

Meanwhile, the Mubar a k Al-Kabeer Governorate Committee in the Municipal Council, during its meeting headed by Nassar Al-Azmi on Monday, will discuss the request of the Public Authority for Roads and Transportation (PART) to modify the shape and dimensions of the location of a rainwater collection tank on an area of 7,898.5 square meters, and allocate a path to connect the tank in Sabah Al- Salem, Block 3 in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate. It will also discuss the request of the Public Authority for Industry for the allocation of a site to build a station for treating liquid industrial waste in Sabhan Industrial Area, Plot 1.

It will discuss the request of a Kuwaiti woman to amend the regulatory status of plot No. 156 in Abu Fatira, Block 10. Furthermore, the Ahmadi Governorate Committee of the Municipal Council will hold a meeting on Monday during which it will discuss the Ministry of Justice’s request to renew the Municipal Council’s decision dated June 23, 2008 regarding the reallocation of a site for the Family Court in Egaila in Ahmadi Governorate. It will also discuss the request of PART for the allocation of nine basins, five water channels, and four connecting links to collect and drain rainwater between the areas of Wafra, Qaradan, and Hufaira to protect Khairan. It will discuss a request from the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs for the expansion of the Mubarak Abdullah Al-Dabous Mosque’s parking area in Fahaheel, Block 12. In addition, the Joint Committee of the Municipal Council’s Technical, Legal and Financial committees, during its meeting headed by Dr. Hassan Kamal on Tuesday, will finish amending the regulations related to construction works and the attached schedules, and the final version of the proposal to amend table No. 1 regarding the requirements and specifications for private and model housing buildings.
