KUWAIT CITY, Jan 12: The Criminal Court, presided over by Judge Nayef Al-Dahoum, acquitted an individual accused of sexually assaulting three individuals, practicing medicine without a license, and impersonating a doctor. The Public Prosecution had charged the defendant with sexually assaulting the victims by convincing them he was a doctor, leading him to access their private parts, and performing medical procedures without the necessary authorization. In court, the defendant’s legal counsel Lawyer Sultan Al-Shammali argued that the charges against his client were not proven. He explained that the victims’ testimonies came after a significant delay, and referenced the testimony of a fourth witness, who had reported the case to the Public Funds Prosecution. This, according to the defense, revealed inconsistencies in the victims’ statements.
