The Criminal Court has adjourned the case of Anwar Al-Fekr until July 29.

KUWAIT CITY, July 15: The Criminal Court has adjourned the case of Anwar Al-Fekr until July 29, delaying the issuance of a verdict and rejecting his request for release.

Al-Fekr faces charges of challenging the rights and authority of His Highness the Amir, trespassing on the Amir's position, and disseminating false information detrimental to the country's reputation and national interests. These allegations stem from activities attributed to his social media account on platform (X) and his involvement in election seminars.

The court session included arguments presented by Al-Fekr's defense team, addressing the accusations leveled against him. The case has drawn significant attention due to its implications for freedom of expression and the boundaries of public discourse in the country.
