KUWAIT CITY, Feb 19: The Criminal Court, presided over by Counselor Ahmed Al-Sadi, sentenced the chairman and two board members of a real estate company—partially owned by the Minors Affairs Department—to 10 years in prison. The court also imposed a fine of 14 million dinars and ordered the return of 7 million dinars. The verdict was issued for misappropriating company funds and unlawfully benefiting one of the members with 7 million dinars through a share deal in a financially troubled company.
