KUWAIT CITY, Oct 3: The Criminal Court has issued an order for the arrest of two lawyers accused of spreading false news on social media, detaining them pending a state security case. The Public Prosecution had previously investigated these lawyers regarding allegations of publishing misleading information about Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, the Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, on platforms such as TikTok and X. Although the lawyers were initially detained for the investigation, they were released once the inquiry was concluded.
