KUWAIT CITY, April 23: The Criminal Court decided to grant bail to a well-known lawyer in the amount of one million dinars, and to two other defendants at 3,000 dinars each. The charges against them include forgery, bribery, and embezzlement of inheritance funds.
The case stems from a complaint filed by a Kuwaiti citizen, who alleged that her relative—a lawyer, along with an employee and others—conspired to steal her portion of the family inheritance. According to the complainant, the defendants committed various crimes, including the use of a legally invalid document, forgery, bribery, and embezzlement, after unlawfully seizing her inheritance share.
