KUWAIT CITY, June 5: After observing the rising number of beggars and hawkers in all governorates especially in front of mosques and commercial establishments, Director General of Ahmadi Security Directorate Brigadier Abdullah Al-Safah formed a security team tasked to conduct surprise inspection campaigns in various locations.

These campaigns led to the arrest of two Jordanian women who were begging in front of mosques and commercial establishments, in addition to two Bangladeshi hawkers. During interrogation, the arrested individuals said they need money and some of them are suffering from diseases.

They were referred to the concerned security unit for legal action. Sources confirmed that the directorate formed a security team in charge of tracking down beggars and hawkers during Ramadan.
