Crackdown Uncovers Liquor Factory, Seven Arrested

KUWAIT CITY, May 18: In a significant crackdown by the Ministry of Interior, seven individuals were apprehended for selling and consuming liquor, and a liquor factory operated by six people was uncovered in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area.

During an inspection campaign, the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station successfully arrested a person in possession of 42 bottles of locally distilled liquor and a sum of money from its sales. Additionally, a liquor factory run by six individuals was discovered, housing 16 barrels containing a suspected intoxicating substance. Six more individuals were found in a state of intoxication. Legal actions are being pursued against all those involved.
