KUWAIT CITY, Jan 10: In contravention of the Residency and Work Law, residency enforcement officers in Fahaheel, Mahboula, Farwaniya, Al Rai, and Hawalli have apprehended expats of diverse nationalities.

The morning and evening inspection operations conducted by the General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigations, involving the Research and Investigation Department, Control and Coordination Department, Violators Follow-up Department, Financial and Administrative Services Department, and the Joint Tripartite Committee in the areas of Fahaheel, Mahboula, Farwaniya, Al-Rai, and Hawalli, led to the arrest of 290 individuals who were found to violate residency and work regulations.

Additionally, a security campaign, in collaboration with various entities such as the municipality, Industry Authority, Public Authority for the Environment, and Environmental Police, targeted workshops in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area. This resulted in the arrest of 28 violators of residency laws, and appropriate legal measures are being pursued against them, with their cases being referred to the competent authorities.
