KUWAIT CITY, Aug 6: In a significant legal decision today, the Criminal Court in Kuwait refused to grant bail to three Kuwaiti citizens accused of planning a terrorist attack on Camp Arifjan. The defendants, all linked to ISIS, face serious charges related to their alleged plot to bomb the camp using an explosive belt.

Among the accused is a police officer from the Ministry of Interior, arrested by the State Security Service along with two other individuals. The first defendant is charged with inciting the police officer to participate in the attack, acquiring knowledge on bomb-making, pledging allegiance to ISIS, disseminating propaganda videos, and recruiting others for the terrorist group.

The accused have denied all charges. Despite their defense team's request for bail, the court rejected the motion, and the suspects remain in custody as the legal proceedings continue.
